According to DNJournal, Moniker recently brokered the sale of the premium one word domain name Guns.com to an unidentified buyer for $800,000.

The transaction is the largest single .com domain name sale of 2010 and overall the sale is only trailing  Poker.org for  $1,000,000 and Credit.fr for  €587,500 ($851,875).


According to the Compete ranking, Guns.com receives over 13,000 unique visitors per month and according to Alexa, Guns.com has seen a steady traffic growth over the last few years.

The name was transferred on Friday and the WhoIs record currently has privacy listings.
